No, Brenda, noone has ever caught the blob and lived to tell about it. But it's strictly a warm weather beast. The colder climate areas need not worry.

My cousin claims to have seen the Blob in Hawaii. It was coming out of a surf shop and was covered with sunscreen. She said it handled a ten foot wave like it was nothing. Then it went up and disappeared into a volcano. The thing is...her credibility is questionable. She actually talks to tables.
